Our bird

On Monday March 19, we stuffed ourselves into a Par Avion plane for a 45-minute flight to the start of our South Coast Track adventure. We flew to Melaleuca and then walked out to Cockle Creek.

Clearing the Ironbound Range was our toughest hurdle on the trek with the summit about 1km above sea level, and our day beginning at about 100m above sea level. And it was up and up and then up again.
